How attractive is consistency!!!
The effort, time and consideration put into being consistent is commendable. Consistency shows how determined the person is in trying to communicate with us and that makes us feel special. Reciprocating that kind of attention on both ends, will make the relationship flourish. Persistence will strengthen the bond.
Inconsistency, on the other hand, is a complete turn off! Ugh. How annoying. They message you one day and then disappear off the face of the Earth the next.
Like….. What was the point? They disappear for however long and then reappear back into our lives like nothing happened. Being inconsistent shows me that you’re not serious, unwilling to commit and a waste of my time and attention. Especially if the goal is to be in a relationship. Nope, not gonna happen. If inconsistency is visible early on, then the relationship is already in jeopardy. Granted, people become busy and making time for our romantic partners can be strenuous. However, we all make time for who we want to make time for. Being busy is no excuse to not try to be consistent.
For example, a simple text, “Hey babe, I’m going to be super busy all day but I just wanted to check up on you. Dinner later?”
Awww. Yes, of course.
People who show us that they’re inconsistent are also showing us that they’re not serious about us. If someone is all about YOU, they will adore the ground you walk on. You’ll be drowning in love and admiration. You’ll feel like the most special person in the world. Inconsistency is the opposite. Coming in as a second option sounds about right. We’re thinking the relationship is getting serious and they’re not “looking for anything serious right now.” There are mixed signals being thrown around.
But why should we linger around for them to be ready to commit? They do not want to commit because they want to explore other options. If they are feeling bored and/or randomly thinking about us, they’ll come running back. They just want something at the moment. With inconsistency, there is no telling. We’re constantly questioning their motives.
Furthermore, uncertainty will drive anyone crazy! My friends, do not waste your time with people who do not make you a priority, especially if you’re looking for something serious. In conclusion, do not settle for less. Do not sell yourself short! Be on the look out for signs that contributes to either Consistency and Inconsistency. Are their efforts Genuine or Deceptive? Be cautious.
