The Holy Trinity

The Holy Trinity consists of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. The Father is the Creator of this Universe. Jesus Christ is the Son of the Most High and the Lord and Savior. The Holy Spirit is the sealant of our souls, The Comforter, given to those who believe in the Lord and are saved. That is what makes up the Holy Trinity. They are all one but they are not all the same. To clarify – they are all referred to as God but they are different in their respective ways. The Father is God but He is not Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God but He is not the Father nor is He the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God but He is not the Father or the Son of Man.

Side Note – Yes, I’m well aware that the Holy Bible never explicitly mentions the “Holy Trinity” but for the relevancy of this post and to explain how they are God in their distinct ways, I included the term. 🙂

Son of Man

I will try to explain to the best of my abilities the significance of the Holy Trinity. But most importantly, I will write extensively about the Son of the Living God. The Word of God is Jesus Himself. He is God’s Incarnate in human form. In just 3 1/2 short years of His ministry, He was able to effectively teach and spread the Gospel. His apostles continued His mission after that. The teachings are mainly centered around Hell and the promises the Lord will upkeep if we turn back to Him and put our faith in the Son of Man. Believing that the Son of Man was risen from death by the Father on the third day is one of many things we must hold dear to the heart. Because of that, for those who believe in Him, they too will rise again and reign with Him forevermore.

The Son of Man is such a crucial figure – biblically, historically, and spiritually.

He is the only One to ever walk this Earth with both a Divine and Human nature. Just like we eat and sleep, the Lord also slept and ate. But at the same time, He can perform miracles and read the minds of those around Him. We are the same when it comes to emotions but Jesus has authority over all creation and can cast out demons from people. He is the focal point when it comes to our fate/faith – whether we are saved or not. Without Him, we have no access to the Father. Jesus is the glue, the missing piece when it comes to spiritually connecting us with the Father. That is why we end our prayers with “In Jesus name.” He is the link between us humans on Earth and the Father who resides in the Third Heavens.

When we come to have faith in the Lord and turn to Him, the angels in Heaven rejoice. Faith in the Lord, gives Him access to move into our lives and into our Spirit (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit). Calling upon His name in our darkest moments will prompt Him to reach down and pull us out of our hardships. My friends, we will know that a supernatural intervention (God) took place when we start to notice events that do not happen naturally. Especially if there are no words to explain or describe what happened. Nonetheless, it was a blessing. When we plead for God to save us, He will. That is just His nature.

The Son of Man is the ONLY way to the Father. Many will seek different ways to get to Heaven but only a few are able to get there. The road to Heaven is slim and it is not because of what we do on Earth. It is because Jesus is the ONLY way for us to be able to make it to Heaven. That is the only reason why the road to Heaven is slim and only a few are able to understand that. It does not matter how “good” we think we are or how well we treat other people. If our spiritual state is not saved and we do not know God, the chances of Heaven is nonexistent. Friends, this is the stone cold truth. Yes, we will also be judged by what we do on Earth – the opportunities that we received to help people and spread the Gospel but ultimately, our fate is solely based on God.

Now I know many of us are still not convinced about the Lord’s existence. It might take a disaster to unfold in our lives for us to see the goodness of the Lord. It might take unfortunate events that were mainly inconveniences, to make us give the Son of Man a chance. Or worse, we simply do not want anything to do with Him. Either way, the end result is what we must live with.

As I mentioned in Love, The Essence of Life and God’s Existence, the Lord will not force Himself on us. He’ll leave that decision up to us. The Lord will only seek those who seek Him. But in some cases, the gracious Lord will come to us first because He knows the moment of when He needs to make a grand entrance in our lives.

It depends. But in the end, it’s up to us to accept Him or deny Him.

But do you want to know what is bewildering to me?

People are unashamed and they proudly curse the Son of Man, even when He did not do anything to them. People are so proud in their ignorance and believe themselves to be so big and bad, that they think they are proving a point by insulting the Son of Man. The Son of Man has not done anything wrong to anyone whatsoever but He is blasphemed and cursed left and right. All He ever did was willingly offered up His body as the perfect sacrifice so that our souls will be saved, without us ever having to experience the Second Death. If that is the reason people hate him so much, we are in big trouble. He cured people of their mental, spiritual and physical ailments, preached the Good News, emphasized the importance of love, forgave us for our sins, and more. If anyone has a logical reason/explanation for blatantly disrespecting Him when all He’s ever done as a human in this world was save us from ourselves, please let me know (:.

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is important when it comes to us being saved. Once we confess with our mouth that Jesus is the Lord and we make Him our Savior, He redeems us right then and there. He gives us the Holy Spirit as the confirmation, the assurance of our souls. The Holy Spirit will continue, for the rest of our physical lives, purifying and sanctifying us so we can become more “Christ-like.” We will adopt the Lord’s characteristics and try to live as He did on Earth. It is a never – ending process. It is not going to go right every single time but our Sinful Nature will continue to decrease because the Holy Spirit will gradually take over and uplift us to the highest level of our spiritual essence in our physical form.

The Holy Spirit makes up a third of the Holy Trinity and He is also God. Meaning – He is equal with the Son and the Father. Furthermore, if we choose to, we can pray to Him because He is God. We can pray to the Father, Son of Man and the Holy Spirit. However, we cannot pray to angels because they are not God. That includes our guardian angel(s). For those of us who are fighting against the Holy Spirit to not come into our lives, that is a grave mistake. The Holy Spirit knows when a man’s or woman’s soul cannot be saved. If there is even an inch of faith in God, He will not cease contact.

Moreover, we should be worried if the Holy Spirit stops trying to save us. That is when we know that our soul cannot be saved. It is lost forever. Thankfully, the Lord is a long-suffering God but He can only wait for soooo long. If we are adamant in our unbelief and are fine with our spiritual disconnect from the Lord – so be it. In the end, when we are on our deathbeds, please be ready for what is to come after this life. It is better to know God when we are alive and well than to bargain with his mercy/saving nature on our last breath. It’s a 50/50 chance. Please, avoid that situation if you can.

The Father

The Father is the Creator of the Universe. We pray to Him every night (at least I hope we do). He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The same Father that parted the Red Sea for the Israelites to escape from the grips of the Egyptians. The same Father who brought this world into creation. The same Father who gave us His only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, so that we may have everlasting life in/with Him. There is no limit to what the Father can do. He has done more things than what I can put into words or mention here. I cannot even grasp how powerful and mighty He is. Our finite minds cannot understand His Existence because it seems too good to be true. There are no words. So instead of believing in His existence and the possibility that we are going to be questioned by Him at the end of our physical lives, we conclude His essence to be made up by a bunch of old historians who wrote the Bible. But that’s another story.

Furthermore, we cannot reach Him unless we come into contact with His Son. Jesus, being both Man and Divine can vouch for us because He is justified. The Son of Man is justified because He was/is the only sinless person to ever walk the face of this Earth and the sacrifice of His body and purity of His blood will cleanse and cover up any sin that we confess to Him. Through the Lord’s grace, we are able to receive forgiveness when we place our faith in the Son of Man.

The Father adjusted accordingly when the fall of man took place since the beginning of this world. The world needed a Savior and the only One capable of that was God Himself. In order for Him to be closer to us, He physically made Himself human so we can relate to Him on a personal level. He bleeds the same way we do. He was tempted the same ways that we were/are. Through it all, the Lord was able to remain pure and loving. Amazing.

It can be complicated to differentiate between the Father and the Son of Man because of their various roles. If anyone needs an elaboration, feel free to send me an email and I’d be happy to clarify.

Conclusion

I tried to condense this blog so it is not too long to read but I also wanted to include everything that I thought was important to know. Thanks for checking this blog. God bless. You may leave questions, comments and/or suggestions if you so choose.
